Restorative Justice
Restorative practice is a process that focuses on the harm done to targets and the obligation that it creates for the offender, and society, to rectify the harm, and reintegrate the offender into society. It roots are ancient, dating back to a time that we existed in clans and tribes. At that period in human history, small groups of people needed every member of their group for the group’s survival and did not have the luxury of banning or disposing of members. 4Civility provides training and certification in Restorative Justice and Restorative Practices for use in schools, organizations, workplaces and the community at large.
